Winter Solstice at Brigid’s House

Saturday, December 19th–Winter Solstice Celebration/Drumming Circle–3-6pm. Everyone is welcome! Come and drum in celebration of the returning of the Sun. Karen Chobot and Ann MacGregor will be sharing a Return of the Sun ceremony based on the symbols, metaphors, and our experiences at New Grange, in Ireland. There will be a hands on project also, so that you can carry the sun home with you. Please bring a pot luck dish to share and drums and rattles if you have them. Also a used gift to giveaway—something you learned from and are ready to pass on to others. Do not wrap it. The gift can be anything–a stone, acorn, book, scarf, jewelry, etc. Donation requested.
