Jeanne’s Training

Jeanne is a Shamanic Practitioner/Teacher, Reiki Master/Teacher in Karuna and Usui Reiki, a Trained Trance Dance Facilitator, Yin Circle Leader, Public Speaker and Founding Member of the Society for Shamanic Practitioners.  She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Applied Psychology and a Masters Degree in Human Development with focus areas in transpersonal psychology, ecopsychology, shamanism and grief and bereavement counseling and education.  Jeanne is an Ordained Minister of the Circle of the Sacred Earth. She is a member of the National Association of Professional Women (NAPW), the American Academy of Bereavement (AAB), and the Foundation for Shamanic Studies (FSS).

Jeanne has trained in Core Shamanism with Bill Brunton and Sandra Ingerman of the Foundation for Shamanic Studies.  Her Celtic Shamanism training has been primarily with Tom Cowan.  She completed Tom’s two year training and has taken many further trainings with him over the past 10 years.  She has also studied with Alberto Villoldo (Peruvian shamanism), Ailo Gaup (Sami), and various other indigenous shamans in Aboriginal and Hawaiian Shamanism.  Jeanne practices primarily Core and Celtic Shamanism.  She has been practicing shamanism since 1993.

Jeanne’s Reiki Training has been with Ethel Lombardi (MariEl Reiki), Lori George (Usui Reiki) and Tony Agee (Karuna Reiki).  She has also attended the International Center For Reiki Trainings conferences where she has increased her knowledge with their teachers—Michael Baird and Laurelle Shanti Gaia, and Jessica Miller.  She has been practicing Reiki since 1984.

Jeanne offers two year trainings in core and Celtic shamanism as well as Reiki and Karuna Reiki trainings and certifications. Jeanne offers a variety of classes and workshops on spiritual growth, shamanism, Reiki and the Ethics of compassion.  She also offers a monthly drum circle, bimonthly trance dance, and more.

She will gladly travel to your area to offer classes and workshops and provide healing work. Jeanne is a skilled facilitator and her workshops can be life changing experiences.
