July Classes

Saturday, July 9th, Intro to the Chakras Class with Jeanne.  10am-12:30pm  $25  In this class you will learn about the 7 primary chakras and how they function in the energetic system of the body.  Understanding the chakras is a basic foundation for all energetic healing work.  We will also work with pendulums, essential oils and stones in learning ways to balance the chakras and remove blockages.  We will also experience a meditation through the chakras.  Highly recommended for anyone learning or practicing energywork.

Friday, July 15th–Drum and Dance with Jeanne.  Drumming circle will be held from 6:30-7:30 with trance dance following at 8pm – 9:30pm.  Come and work on your intentions, things you want to manifest in your life.  Use the energy of the drum and the energy of the dance to create the life you want.  Drumming circle–donation.  Trance Dance–$20.  Or come to both for $20!

Saturday, July 16, Reiki I class with Jeanne. 10-3:30pm.  $120.  Come and learn this beautiful system of hands on healing.  You will learn the hand positions, history of Reiki, and spend time in class with “hands on” practice time.  You will receive a manual for Reiki I and II and a certificate in Usui Reiki.   Reiki II is scheduled for August 20th.  Call Brigid’s House to register.

Saturday, July 30th, Introduction to Celtic Shamanism with Jeanne, 10-3pm, $50.  Come and explore the pre-Christian ancient Celtic beliefs. Come into the magic and mystery of the Celtic world.  The Celts walked freely between the Worlds, in communion with the ancestors , and in conscious awareness of their interconnectedness with nature.  What can we learn from the Celtic World?  Concepts discussed will include the Otherworld, Betwixt and Between, the Mists, the Hearth, and the Celtic Heart.  There will be an outdoor exercise so dress appropriately for the weather.  This class is a pre-requisite for attending the two year training in Celtic Shamanism.  You do need to know how to journey to attend this class.  Please bring a drum if you have one, bandana, and a pen and notebook to record your journeys and class notes. You are also asked to bring a poem (any length)  about nature that you can read in class.
