October Classes

Saturday, October 1, 2011, Intro to Core Shamanism with Jeanne at 12 Houses in Grand Forks, ND.  Come and learn about the core principles of shamanism, learn about shamanic healing vs western healing, meet your power animal through a guided imagery experience, learn the process of journeying so that you are able to access spiritual information for yourself and others.  Please wear comfortable clothing.  Please register with 12 Houses at .

Friday, October 7th, Drum and Dance with Jeanne.  Drumming circle from 6:30-7:30pm (donation) and trance dance from 8pm-9:30pm.  $20.  Come to both for $20!

Saturday, October 8th, Reiki I class, 10-3:30pm.  Come and learn this beautiful hands on form of healing at Brigid’s House.  You will be attuned to the Reiki I energies, learn the hand positions for healing of self and others, learn about the history of Reiki and will receive a certificate in Reiki I. You will have ”hands on” practice time in class. Cost is $120 which includes a manual for Reiki I and II.

Saturday, October 15th–New two year training in core shamanism.  10-6pm.  This first class of the two year training begins our training around the medicine wheel.  In the first year of the two year training we work on healing ourselves by working around the medicine wheel.  In the second year we learning healing techniques for healing others (psychopomp work, soul retrieval and extraction). We meet every three months, on a Saturday, and class times are determined at the previous class by the students so that everyone can attend.  In-between class times there is experiential homework.  Cost of the two year training is $1200 with a $300 deposit due two weeks prior to the first class.  For the remainder of the tuition students often pay $150 a class or $50 a month.  The $300 deposit is non-refundable.  Past students have claimed this training to be life changing, so be prepared!  To register, please call Brigid’s House at .  Class size is limited.
