2012 Shamanic Retreat Agenda (tentative—spirit may change!)

Thursday, Nov. 1 thru Sunday, Nov. 4

To be held at Camp Knutson in Cross Lake, MN

$290 each for a double room, $310 for a single room 

All meals are included

$150 deposit due by Sept. 1st, retreat is limited to under thirty people

Please note that all activities are optional

Thursday, Nov. 1^st

5pm Initial gathering

5:30pm  Dinner

7-10pm—Welcoming community and the faeries(Cheryl Gordon will share some info on the faeries needs), Building Cairn, Discussion of Samhain and Old Bones Mother, Journey into the Cairn, ending with a Samhain trance dance.

Friday, Nov. 2^nd

8am Breakfast

8:45-9:15—Dancing with the elements with Wendy Siracusa—time to get your body moving—this was very popular last year!

9:30am-11:45am—Maskmaking—we’ll make the plaster gauze cast of our face, bring an old Tshirt, towel, washcloth and hair tie—no makeup.

12 Noon—Lunch

2-5pm—Creating labyrinth and ritual in labyrinth—bring an apple (I learned this labyrinth ritual in Ireland)

5:30pm—Dinner

6:30-7:30 Free time or mask making/decorating

7:30pm–?  Bards in the Woods gathering around the campfire with music, song, chants, poetry, dancing, drumming, etc.  Everyone come and share your inspirations from the otherworld!

Saturday, Nov. 3

8am—Breakfast

9:30-11:45am  Intro to the star connection technique and grid activation (we will be activating a crystal heart grid.  If you have a crystal skull, please bring it—any size will do).

12 Noon—Lunch

2-5pm—Mask Decorating—I will provide all supplies—if you want something special on your mask, please bring it with you.

5:30pm—Dinner

6:30-7:30pm—Free time or finish decorating mask.

7:30pm-?—Fire ceremony with masks, drumming

Sunday, Nov 4

9am Breakfast

9:45-11am Community Healing (same as last year with roses, cedar boughs, lavender, water) and Closing circle.
