Changes

Many of you have already heard the news that Brenda and I will be closing Brigid’s House at the end of next summer (2014).  It is a decision that we made so that we may both go on to do other things in our lives.  We have been operating Brigid’s House since 2001 and after 12 years, it is time to pass on what we have created to a younger generation who have the energy and the vision to make even greater things happen.  Brigid’s House never would have existed without all of your patronage, help and support, and most importantly your love. We are so grateful to all of you!   So help us make this last year the best ever!!

Many of you have lots of questions about what will be happening now that Brigid’s House will be closing.  I can only speak for myself at this point.  I know that I am open to wherever the Universe may lead me and that I am its faithful servant in sharing this beautiful wisdom of the heart of Mother Earth.

I see myself continuing to offer classes, workshops, retreats, etc. and I’m hoping I will be able to do more traveling, coming to you with gifts to share.  I also hope that locally and beyond there will be venues from which I can teach and do my soul sharing.  If you know of places that I can offer classes, please let me know! If you have a facility or room I can rent, please let me know.   I also will be expanding my online presence with more classes and greater interaction technologically (once I figure all that out!!!).

I also hope to continue to attend the expos and offer healing work and my gemstone chakra pillows.  I love making the pillows and so many of you have expressed how helpful they have been to you.  I do hope to keep my etsy store up and running.  I will also be making more rattles and drums which I will sell on my site.

I have had many requests to have a Wild Women’s Weekend and I am thinking that I may offer that in the spring each year as our wild women juices are flowing, and continue with the shamanic retreat each fall.  I love putting on retreats, and if you or your organization would like me to design a retreat weekend just for your group, please contact me.  I recently had a UCC group contact me regarding a weekend retreat for their pastors, and I really would love to do more of that kind of work.

I will continue to offer 2 year trainings in core and celtic shamanism.  So if you are in a program, do not fear, it will continue.  I so love the shamanic work, it is my first love and what I most want to offer to the world.

And so, these are my thoughts at this  moment.  Of course, we all know full well that the Universe may have a different agenda, so we will have to see what unfolds over this next year.  I will keep you updated on what may be occuring.
