Shamanic Retreat:  Igniting our Passion, Deepening our Service

April 4, 5, 6^th, 2014, at Camp Knutson, Crosslake, MN

In this our first spring retreat we will be focusing on connecting with our passion through the energies of the spring equinox and the coming of the Celtic festival of Beltaine.  We will deepen our sense of service to the world through strengthening and empowering our own passions and our knowledge of who we truly are and how we may stand steady in the chaos around us. 

We will begin Friday evening with a welcoming ceremony, a drumming and opening the circle for the weekend.  We will blow the Peruvian Whistling Vessels allowing their energies to connect us to the Universe.  In shamanic dance we will then dance our intentions for the weekend, setting a strong foundation of light, love and intent.

On Saturday morning we will dance our chakras into balance with Wendy Siracusa.  After a brief discussion of the days events and of the body divine by Jeanne, Troy Schmit will again lead us into a powerful energy grid and meditation experience to heighten the energies for the weekend and send out our call to the star ancestors.

At this time, the afternoon is open and I am awaiting instructions on what this might contain.  It is coming, but not quite here yet.  I just have inklings of it!

And in the evening we will have a wailing ceremony that will help to heal our body, mind and spirit and ultimately send healing to our world.  The evening will conclude with a fire ceremony.   Following the fire ceremony we may re-enter the grid energies, calling upon our star ancestors, asking for contact, healing, and understanding.

Sunday morning, after breakfast/brunch, we will again end our time together with our community healing ceremony. 

We will end our time together by noon.

This weekend includes drumming, dancing, smudging, honoring, and deep heart connection.  We will begin and end each day with drumming up and drumming down the sun.  There will be free time to enjoy the nature and beautiful energies of Camp Knutson.  We will be in nature as much as possible, which of course, depends upon the weather spirits!

The 2013 Fall Retreat was life changing for many people.  We hope you will come and share your energies with us all.  As the Hopi  prophecy states, it is time for us to “Gather Yourselves”.  “The time for the lone wolf is over.

This retreat is open to both men and women.  The only requirement is that you know how to do shamanic journeying and have a good working relationship with your power animal.  (If you do not know how to journey or know your power animal, I do have a class on my website that you can take online to prepare you for the retreat.)  Click the link below to register.  Limited to 30 participants.
