Fall retreat 2013

On this first day of the new year, I am once again sitting down to try to put into words my experience and thoughts about our Fall Retreat at Camp Knutson. I have sat down many times to try and write about my experience and thoughts, and every time the words are few or not at all.  Magic occured everywhere and how does one explain magic?  The love was so vast and intimate, how does one explain multi-dimensional love?  I’ve tried to pick my favorite most profound moment to write about and I find I can’t separate a special moment, as the whole weekend was one moment, indivisible.

We were all birthed as a family into a new world, a world with no limitations or separations, but only love.  We became soul family.  We recognized the divine in each of us. We moved and experienced, and danced and sang, and healed and drummed, and cried and hugged, and listened and shared, and sweated and laughed, as One.

I guess it really is very simple.  We fell in love with one another.

And Brigid and the star ancestors watched over us, smiling.

This experience gives me hope for our world.  I have seen since the retreat, the changes in the lives of those who participated.  People are releasing, letting go, opening up, sharing, loving and making change in their own lives and ultimately in our world.  We have become community, and that is where it all starts.  As Ram Dass stated, “We’re all just walking each other home.”  And I would add to that, arm in arm, heart to heart, in love.

I am so grateful!

We will be holding our first spring retreat April 4, 5, and 6th at Camp Knutson near Brainerd MN.  I limit the retreat numbers to 30, so please register as soon as possible to hold your space.
